two barges were returned. Last information say that not all corn is affected, yet more than 60% is OK for export. Major world buying companies resumed purchases. Serbian Ministry is takin precautions and ordered inspections of silos companies, just to clear the situation.

Serbian corn is highly respected for the quality and represents substantial export potential from Serbia. As major exporter of corn in Europe and World, this incident is not helping Serbian exporters at all and hopefully Government officials and major exporters will do all to limit the damage and resume exports soon.
