Ukraine- Ministry of Economy raised its 2014/15 grain export forecast by 7 percent because of higher corn sales. Corn exports will rise to 20.2 million tons this marketing year.

EU raised import tariffs for maize, sorghum and rye to 10.44 Eur/t. EU imports millions of tonnes each year to meet demand for livestock feed. Anyhow grain prices have fallen further to hit their lowest position in more than four years.

Corn crop in seasson 2014 for EU is estimated to hit record number above 70 million tonnes. Very good plating time conditions helped harvest.
